Who is Tim Staermose, the Global Value Hunter?
I’m a full-time investor and investment writer.  I grew up all over the world, in Tanzania, Denmark, Egypt, Singapore and Australia – where I completed my higher education.  I have an unorthodox background.  And it shapes my approach to investing and life.

My readers appreciate this, and often comment that I bring them a valuable alternative perspective they can’t get anywhere else. Read more…

@LT3000Lyall https://t.co/Hsmp3xbGx4 better stable coin. Gold backed. I am an investor in the company behind it.

@Swahilikidbooks @TheAfricaReport @TheEconomist The pie grew. That's been my core argument. Media outlets should get that fact correct and stop writing poorly researched articles that set out to "prove" a pre-conceived notion the pie shrank and all is terrible. Facts are facts. Rhetoric is something else.

In case you missed it: It’s time to take stock and, if necessary, make some hard decisions for the better https://t.co/djprDnWaV0 #globalvaluehunt

@Swahilikidbooks @TheAfricaReport But back to development. We can argue whether taxes should be spent on building human capital via healthcare and education or on physical capital by building infrastructure and in what order. But all is necessary.

@Swahilikidbooks @TheAfricaReport It phases me not. Anti-American sentiment (and I am often mistakenly called an American) is everywhere. China. South Korea. Vietnam. Philippines. And no wonder. The US sticks its nose in everywhere without being invited. Just a fact of life. The US has its own massive problems.

@Swahilikidbooks @TheAfricaReport If people are paying the tax they legally owe on time, they shouldn't be harrassed. My understanding is for far too long too many did not. The pendulum swung. TRA is collecting their share of a GROWING pie, not a shrinking one which is what @TheAfricaReport and @TheEconomist miss
